No Child without a Cake
Birthdays are something to be celebrated. With so much happening in the world today, it’s important that we still take the time to appreciate how we and our children, unlike so many others, made it through another year of of life. In order to make sure that every child gets a chance to celebrate, I've created this campaign. I am currently giving away one free cake each month to a family in need of a cake to celebrate their childs special day.
This campaign will be running from now through December of 2016.
Please feel free to use the button below to nominate someone under the age of 15 you believe needs a special treat.
We want to put a smile on a childs faces by offering the cake that their parents can’t afford at the time. Just for extra fun, if your nominee is chosen, you get to pick the theme for their cake.
I don't plan on stopping there . . . our promise is; the more we grow, the more we plan to do in our community!
TaylorMade Sweetz of Richmond, Virginia, was started by self-taught cake artist, Alexis Taylor. Alexis is a 25-year-old single mother of a four-year-old child. She began the company as a home-based bakery in June of 2012, and it flourished. Shes planning to open her own store front bakery June of 2018.
Having and still enduring her own struggles, Alexis felt the need to give back to her community as well as to the followers on the company’s Instagram page. So she devised a plan that would allow her to help others, all while still doing what she loves. From that, her first community-driven campaign “No Child Without A Cake” was born.
